The Feast of St Francis of Assisi was yesterday, Friday 4th October, and so Father John Ryder will be holding an Animal Blessing Service tomorrow, Sunday 6th October at 11:00am.
As you all know, St Francis is the Patron Saint of Animals and so everyone is invited to attend this special and often lively service for our animal friends.
Pets of all kinds, including dogs, cats, hamsters, rabbits, budgies, chicken, goldfish are most welcome as long as they bring their owners.
Wouldn’t it be great if a red squirrel paid a surprise visit! Also, you probably know that we now have the White-tailed Eagles back on the island after an absence of over 200 years. Where will they be spending Sunday morning?
