Isle of Wight Radio report that just after midnight on Saturday there was a break-in at the Old Smithy cafe and thieves removed a safe with many hundreds of pounds.
Entry was gained through a rear window. If you have any information, call police on 101, quoting the crime reference number 44190440819.
