Burglaries in Ventnor – can you help?

“We are investigating three burglary reports relating to commercial premises in Ventnor made over the weekend.
 
At some point between 5am and 5:30am on Saturday 19 August someone smashed the glass at the entrance to Oceanblue café on the eastern esplanade in Ventnor. Nothing was taken.
 
Also on 19 August between 5:15am and 5:30am Paddingtons on Ventnor High Street was broken into and the till was stolen.
 
Sometime between 2:30am and 6:30am on Monday 21 August someone broke into Tramazini coffee shop on Ventnor High Street through the front door and stole the till.
 
Investigating officers are looking at whether any of these reports are linked and enquiries are ongoing. Members of the Neighbourhood Policing Team will be patrolling the area regularly and will be meeting with business owners at a meeting planned for later this month.
