We have just added to our “Walks around Godshill” page. The new walk is a variation on several others and was one of the walks used in the Isle of Wight Walking Festival in 2011.
We have added a new feature to the website. You can both ask questions and also help others by answering and commenting on their questions. So, why not give it a go.
We’ve added to our “Walks around Godshill”. Not for the faint hearted – although flat & easy it’s a full 19 miles! It follows the Yar River from Niton to Bembridge.
We’ve enhanced our “Walks around Godshill” with more up-front information on each walk & split the walks into 2 groups, circular walks and end-to-end walks which include Godshill.
We are in the process of pulling together information from many sources to produce a chronological list of events that relate to Godshill. The first version now exists on the website at https://godshill.online/history/ Any information relating to the history of the village would be most welcome. You can get in touch by e-mailing colin@godshill.online.
Do you know of any events taking place in or close to Godshill? We’d like to add anything that might be of interest to residents or visitors to our events catalogue. You can get in touch simply by emailing colin@godshill.online
