Godshill’s own TC to be awarded for raising £145,000 for Bloodwise

Terry Crow, who was diagnosed with Leukaemia way back in 1990s and then given the all-clear has taken part every year for over 25 years in the Bikeathon in London. The event raises funds for Bloodwise (formerly known as Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research).

In all those years, Terry has been accompanied by other fun cyclists from Godshill – including Becky and Daniel Eastgate, George Foreman and Joanne Hough. In total, he has raised some £145,000 for the Bloodwise charity.

On Thursday 4 April, Terry will be going to a London Hotel in order to receive an award for his dedicated efforts in not only raising money for the charity but also in organising and leading a team of cyclists from the Isle of Wight each year.

Terry will naturally be supported in person by his Godshill friends at the award ceremony.
