Many of you know Jo Hough who lives in Godshill and works alongside Ekiñe Fernandez and Tash Karsa at ALDI in Lake. The three of them are driving the fundraising for Teenage Cancer Trust in the supermarket.
In order to give this fundraising some current focus, this Saturday (7 September 2019) there is an event at ZipWorld (on north island) in which they plan to run the fastest zip wire in the world and also the longest zipwire in Europe.
You can find out more about this by either visiting ALDI in Lake or going to their local fundraising page which they have just set up:
We are dedicated to improving the quality of life and chances of survival for young cancer patients aged 13-24. We fund and build specialist units in NHS hospitals and provide dedicated staff, bringing young people together so they can be treated by teenage cancer experts in the best place for them.
