Godshill Xmas Market, today, Saturday (8th) from 11am to 4pm and beyond! The sun has started shining and conditions are calmer than feared! You’ll be sure of a warm welcome from the 50 stallholders and all the local businesses. Plus, parking is FREE! Or, if you come by bus, take your ticket to the Methodist Hall for a free hot drink.
The Xmas Market takes place in the extensive Old Smithy Car Park (behind the public Car Park). Enjoy the outdoor stalls, Santa’s Grotto, indoor entertainment and refreshments in the Methodist Church and our businesses in the High Street, the Square and Church Hollow. Plus, if you’ve not done so before, take a brisk walk up to All Saints Church which is open all day. You can then treat yourself to your chosen form of refreshment on your way back down as there’s plenty to choose from. Plus, if you’re looking for a very special gift, look no further than Westmead Teddies (church end of the High Street), from popular makes to local hand-made. The quirky is just around the corner, behind the Village Stores, at Xanadu.
