Paul and Sue Brownrigg are well-known on the Island for their quality and affordable meat produced on their own farm. They began their venture 20 years ago with a flock of free range turkeys and geese. The Brownriggs now also rear traditional ruby red cattle, have a flock of over 1000 sheep and free range hens that produce over 3000 eggs a day. These are all available to buy Islandwide.
The family’s new shop, ‘Brownrigg’s Farm Shop and Butchery’ opened in 2013 on the former Godshill Organics site. It is in an ideal position, just north out of Godshill, on the main road between Shanklin and Newport, with easy access and ample parking. The shop is open seven days a week.
