Tomorrow (28 June) is National Cream Tea Day (#nationalcreamteaday). When you mention “Godshill” one of the first replies you might well get is “cream teas”. Godshill on the Isle of Wight is renowned for its variety of afternoon tea establishments.
Godshill has a large free car park, so, if you are on the island, you have no excuse for not descending on the village to sample its goodies.
You are certainly spoilt for choice. From the cosy, thatched cottage tea rooms of Worsley’s in Church Hollow to the lawns, ponds, fountains & waterfall of Leal’s Tea Gardens on the High Street.
Our other three providers of splendid cream teas are The Chocolate Box, The Old World Tea Rooms and The Old Smithy.
