There was a bumper turnout for this meeting. The usual turnout of a handful or a few more members of the public ballooned to well over 30, all interested to ask about item 4 (iv) on the agenda – the proposed development of 5 dwellings on Church Hill, within the conservation area.

The Parish Council was left in no doubt as to the extent of public feeling about this application and was provided with additional material reasons why it should be opposed. The Parish Council confirmed that it was also strongly opposed and urged every person present, including its own members, to submit their comments to the IoW council via the planning website – https://www.iwight.com/planning/AppDetails3.aspx?frmId=32867
