Pistol Calibre Rifle Competition in Godshill

At the Sainham Range, Godshill, there was a large turnout for the first pistol calibre rifle competition of the year, the Ward Platter.

In a close contest, Jim Schofield (left) won with a score of 349 out of 400, with Ian Lockhart (right) second (345) and Sam Keery (343) third.

Shooters were challenged with precision shooting, followed by a round of three-second turning targets.
