The two mainstays for your Sunday roast lunch in Godshill have, this month, been joined by two more, both with huge reputations behind them. The two pubs, The Griffin and The Taverners, have now been joined by the two ‘W’ restaurants of Woods Kitchen and Worsley’s.
Worsley’s which took over the Bat’s Wing premises, start their Sunday offering on 2nd September. They will be serving from noon until 3pm. They are fortunate to have the well-known Isle of Wight Sunday roast specialist, ‘Nana Pat’.
Woods Kitchen which is the newly refurbished The Essex, sees the return to Godshill of chef and owner Teri Wood. They kicked off their Sunday lunch a week ago with as full a house as she could manage, having only been open a matter of days. Sunday roast is available from 11am to 4pm.
