As those of us who were Sam’s regulars already know, she has decided to take up a wonderful offer to relocate The Pantry in Binstead. Her good friends, Lucy and Craig, took over the grade II listed The Fleming Arms last summer and have finally persuaded Sam to join them with The Pantry being set up within this extensive establishment. The Fleming Arms is gaining a great reputation based on its preference for local produce, most of which the locals will be able to purchase in the pub itself from 10 in the morning to 10 at night!
However, before you go dashing the 9 miles to Binstead, there will be a short hiatus as extensive renovations are starting in the pub next Monday and expect to be completed mid March.
Sam, it was great having your little shop in the village and all of your regulars will miss being able to pick up all that local produce without jumping in the car. The local hostelries will now have nowhere to dash when they run out of fresh veggies. I’m sure many of us will pop up to see you in Binstead, especially as we will be able to stop for a pint and a bite to eat at the same time!

Transformation nearly complete – Tansy’s Pantry will be open for Easter.
Today’s the day that sees Sam’s Pantry up and running again in the newly refurbished Fleming Arms in Binstead. If you pop in today and give your name and contact details to any member of their staff, you have a chance to win a voucher worth £25.00 to spend in the pub. The draw takes place at 9pm tonight and the result will appear on their website (theflemingarmsiow.co.uk).
