The season of Advent begins this Sunday, November 28th, and All Saints will be getting it off to a great start by having The Right Revd Norman Banks, Bishop of Richborough, to preside and preach at the 11.00 Holy Communion service. There will be refreshments after the service, so do go along and then stay a chat with him. Everyone is most welcome.
Also, here are some dates for your diary in December:
Thursday 2nd 11.00 – 3.00 Advent Fayre in church. There will be lots of stalls and refreshments available. Do come, bring your friends, and spend lots of money!
Wednesday 8th 11.00 Cell of OLW and Extended Holy Communion for the Feast of the Immaculate Conception. This will be an opportunity to pray through the many prayer requests which are left by visitors on the Our Lady of Walsingham altar.
Sunday 12th December 11.00 Mass at 11.00. This will be the third Sunday in Advent, when rose vestments will be worn, marking the mid-way point in Advent.
Sunday 19th December 6pm Service of lessons and carols. Please encourage friends and family to come to this, if possible, in appropriate costumes, as we tell the stary of the Incarnation through familiar readings and well-known carols. There will be refreshments afterwards.
Saturday 25th December Christmas Day 9.30 Ext HC at St Albans. Mass at All Saints’ 11.00
There will be no service on Sunday December 26th.
PLEASE NOTE: The church will be OPEN for visitors throughout December, normally between 10am and 4pm.
