Cllr Suzie Ellis, Councillor for Central Rural (inc. Godshill) has become the first female leader of the Isle of Wight Conservatives.

If you are an elector in the parish and have any interest in Godshill you should make an effort to attend this very important annual meeting.

Godshill Parish Council continues to live in the past and makes no real attempt to communicate with the residents it is suppose to serve.

Two parish councillors walked out of a parish council meeting when confronted by rudeness and a complete lack of willingness of the chair to listen to complaints put forward by 50% of councillors.

The 3 new Councillors are keen to involve residents. Give them your backing in person on Monday and tell them what Godshill wants and needs.

You’d be forgiven for asking if Godshill had a parish council or does it come under Wroxall who play an active part in the community.

Hopefully, the arrival of THREE new parish councillors will see a change with a more democratic approach incorporating better communications.

Godshill Parish Council needs one further parish councillor. Get your application in before NOON on Monday 21 June.
